Source and tea cup working out!

In Maths time, we were doing a source and tea cup working out. for me it was easy because all you have to do is just put it all in different order and only one column is aloud to be in the same only once though.  I hope you like mine tell me if I got anything wrong comment. I hope you like it.

Today in Maths we were in a buddy and also doing Decimals we were doing a spiral decimal sheet, I was in a buddy with Teagen we were like the first one done. In Maths Strand We are learning every type of graph Like a bar graph we have already done and now we are moving on to Line graphing. We had to do a worksheet about levels of people and It was called Rock star. Heres Mine I really Hope you Like It...

2. It Goes High But Then It Goes Low.

Tally Chart.

Today in our homeroom time we did a tally chart brothers and sisters and if we are an only child. We had to do it in our maths book. it was fun because of all of the writing with a pencil. After we were finished we had to do a photo.  I really like how mostly everyone has a brother and brothers are the best. Heres mine I really hope you like it?

Tally Charts Statistics.

Today for strand maths we have been learning about statistics. We have asked the question " How do people in P2 get to school?
We did a tally chart then a bar graph.
I found a little challenging How to total it all up together.
i found it a lot easy to draw and write it.
I also found a little hard to make all the bars and getting it all in perfection.
I noticed that the most amount of people go to school in cars.
I also noticed that the middle amount was the scooter.
The second to least was the walking only 2 people walk and 2 is half of 4.
And the least amount was the Bike, Bus.

Sid's Schemes. Maths Starter Of The Day.

Sid earns £100 each week. For a summer holiday bonus his boss gives him a choice between 3 schemes. Which would you chose?


1. A 20% pay rise today followed by a 20% pay cut each week's time;
2. An 18% ' one time ' bonus;
3. A £2 gift each day for the next nine days.



Today we have been doing a maths starter of the day and it was about Sid's scheme and there was 3 questions and you had to pick which one you would choose i would chose question 3 and I will tell you why... 



I would chose Question 3 because I would really like a pay cut each week because it would be nice for me to have a nice holiday.

The Seven Stars Matariki - Maths

WE looked at a photo of the 7 stars of Matariki. We talked about polygons. Polygons are shapes Triangle, Square, Rectangle, Circle, Diamond, Hexagon, Heart, Star, Octagon, Pentagon, Heptagon and semi-circle. W had to use position of the stars to create different shapes. The most simple polygon I made was Triangle or square. The most Complex or difficult was I don't know because they all seem easy to me. Here is my photos hope you like it.

Sort The Street.

Today we have been doing sort the street. we had to do four things we had to do. Roof, Chimney, Windows, doors with color same, Hight of the house. Here mine I hope you like it...

Two Digit Target!

Today we have been doing a two digit target . there are odd, Even, large and small numbers. it was pretty hard but then it was kinda easy. Heres mine hope u like it..

Number 68!

In maths we are learning about numbers. I had the number 68. I had to show 6 different ways to make it. I used a number fan, Place value, Money, Unfix cubes, Tens frames, Ice cream sticks, counters and cards.

Place Value!

For the last couple of weeks we have been learning about how many tens and ones are in numbers. For example the number 43 has 4 tens and 3 ones. I found It a bit everything what I mean is a bit hard a bit tricky and a bit easy lots of confusing thing.

Tyre maths

In maths we are learning about making maths question from a picture. I found challenging when we had to try and count them up it was hard. What I found easy was when I had to make questions and ask how you would work it out...

Pizza maths

This week for maths we made fraction pizzas with Mrs S we did Fractions. We made a pizza base and put our toppings on it. We then had to work out the fraction of each topping we had.

   

Rounding Numbers

In maths we have been learning to round numbers to the nearest 100. I have learnt that if a number is over 50 you round it up. If a number is bellow so you round it down. If a number 350 you always round so up.
